Bree’s high school senior session was nothing short of amazing. She’s is the sweetest girl – both inside and out. She was our nanny this past summer and my kids just ADORE her. Bree – enjoy the rest of your senior year! I can’t want to see the big things you do after high school!
This was a great game to watch! Such excitement with a lot of home runs!

I had the privilege and honor to be able to photograph some games at the Little League State Tournament at Chet Waggoner that was taking place July 27th through August 3rd. Galleries will be coming up shortly with links to purchase digital images from the games. In the meantime, here are examples of some of the great ball players that were a part of this tournament. 🙂

I have known David’s Mom and Dad for a little over 3 years now. I had photographed their first born, Aubrey, when I was just coming onto the newborn photography scene and one of their friends had purchased a gift certificate from me as a baby shower gift for Nicole. I was so happy that I was able to photograph their second child, David, this year. Dave & Nicole have become such a part of my life that I consider them more than just clients – they are friends! <3 I sometimes feel like I spend more time with them talking than photographing. 🙂 Dave & Nicole, thank you for the honor of photographing David! He’s precious!
I was completely honored to get the email from Kimra asking me if she could book a family session with me. I had met the Lemans when Kimra and I were pregnant with our girls (hers – Grace – mine – Leryn) almost 5 years ago. But the bond between our families goes back to the college days of my husband and Tim at Indiana State University. They were fraternity brothers. Through the power of Facebook, they were able to reconnect and found that Tim’s family was living only a couple of miles of ours. The rest is history. 🙂 Tim and Kimra, you are blessed with very respectful beautiful children! Thank you for choosing me to photograph your family! Hope to see you soon!
Carrie contacted me when Thayer was close to three weeks old. I admit, I was a bit nervous about scheduling a newborn session at that age just because I typically like to do newborn sessions between 8-12 days old. 3 weeks was kind of pushing it. We scheduled his session for 4 days later. In the midst of getting the details worked out, I learned that Carrie and Rob had adopted Thayer through an adoption agency in Indianapolis. My heart was full with excitement for them! They were at work one day (both are teachers at Merrillville High School) and got the call that a baby had been born and the birth mom picked them to be his parents! Off they went to Indianapolis to pick up their newborn baby! <3 We had a wonderful session and Thayer was an absolute DREAM to work with. Thank you, Carrie and Rob, for giving me the honor of photographing your sweet baby boy!
I met up with the Tuesley family back in the late Fall (but still oh-so-gorgeous outside!!) for their session at their home. Normally, I like to check out the location a day or two in advance just to make sure that it will fit what we want to get out of the session. Their backyard did not disappoint! Perfect for exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much, Tuesley family, for the honor of capturing your family photos! Hope to see you again this Fall!
I had the pleasure of photographing the Vanderheydens back in the late fall/early winter. We were looking to get a nice “wintery” family session outside but Mother Nature had different plans for us that day. The snow that was coming down was not going to be in favor of two small children. The wind was swirling around like a tornado. We tried to get some outside but quickly made the decision to go inside and get more of a lifestyle session with them. I’m so glad we did. 🙂 Thank you, Vanderheydens, for letting me capture your beautiful family! Hope to see you again soon!
*Sigh* – the Langleys. <3 I sometimes wonder what we ever did before we met this family. Cory and Melissa are such great friends of ours and…their boys? AMAZING. So sweet and awesome. My kids and theirs get along great and have built themselves some lasting friendships – just like my husband and I did with Cory and Melissa. Melissa told me that they had not had family pictures taken in YEARS – like when Colin was a little munchkin. Ummmm…..what??? We need to set up a session – stat! And we did just that. Melissa really wanted a beach session so to Michigan City we went! Loved, loved, loved everything about this session – the people, the location, the memories that we made that day. <3 Love you, Langleys!
I have known Finley’s mom since my husband and I had move to the South Bend area. Actually, she was the first person we met as we were neighbors in the apartment complex we lived in. We moved out and bought a house and said our goodbyes in hopes of seeing each other again and keeping in touch. Time had passed and then one day, my husband said that he saw Jaime at Meijer shopping! Yay! Come to find out, right now, we live less than a mile from each other. I was honored when Jaime asked me to photograph her second baby. 🙂 It was a blessing in disguise too because on the day of Finley’s session, the biggest blizzard-like conditions were hitting our area. Luckily, we were close to each other and had nothing better to do than to take pictures all day. 🙂 Congrats again, Jaime! Your family is beautiful! Enjoy your little girl! xoxoxo
I had the pleasure of photographing sweet 8 day old, Rylan, who was just the absolute perfect doll baby for me. I think I was able to do more set-ups with her than any other newborn I have ever worked with. She slept and slept and ate once and was back to la-la land so soon after eating. Megan, thank you for the honor of photographing your first baby! She’s beautiful! Enjoy motherhood! 🙂
